Event Type:

This video stars Bre Pettis. Bre is NOT in Japan. He will not be at THS. Stick around after Electronics 101 for a screening of Bre Pettis' (of NYCResistor/Makerbot - CupCake fame) pilot on the History channel, "History Hacker." The show never got picked up by the Hitler (ahem History) channel, but it would have made a great show. In the pilot, Bre explores the dynamic between Tesla and Edison. Some hacks and projects included in the episode include: Making a bicycle AC generator Blowing glass bulbs Exploring the Edison DC grid in New York This is a perfect complement to the Electronics 101 class, as it highlights and expands on many of the concepts we cover in the class! The show is about 45 minutes, and will begin shortly after E101 finishes. So, I suggest arriving a bit before 5 if you are not in the class. Free for members Free for E101 participants 500 yen donation requested from non-member drop-ins.
