Learn how to cure and smoke your own bacon. 2kg slab of bacon will be provided and salt cure and on the 21st of April we will smoke your bacon that you have cured at home for the previous week. SIGN UP EARLY to assure enough bacon will be purchased! THIS SESSION: Learn how to prepare and cure your bacon. Price includes all materials, including a slab of bacon. NEXT SESSION: 4/21 - 11AM You will smoke your bacon. Be prepared to spend the whole day, as it can take several hours to smoke the bacon. Bring some other project to work on while you wait.

I had a craving.

Tokyo Hacker Space and Kimono Wine And Grill present our first ever BACON CLASS! 5/19 and 5/28 Make, Cure, and Smoke your own Bacon right here in Tokyo! This is a two part class. Come learn the basics of curing and smoking meat, esp. making your own bacon. Two part class will include how to make your own Cure, how to cure and prepare your pork and finally how to smoke and transform pork into bacon for home deliciousness.
